Commencing as soon as possible. Qualifications and Work Requirements: Qualifications in payroll, or accounting; and/or a minimum 3 years' experience in a large organisation with high volume payroll processing with end-to-end production knowledge and skills. A current/valid Australian Driver's Licence and eligibility to work within Australia. A National Police Check. Requirement to travel between locations as required. Experience with education payroll is highly desirable. Key Capabilities: Experience with cloud-based payroll software (EmpowerHR is highly regarded but not essential). Demonstrated above average skills in Microsoft Excel and other MS Office software. Strong attention to detail with sound analytical and problem-solving skills. Must be organised, efficient and able to multitask, with a drive to achieve continuous improvement in the overall payroll process. Proven ability to interpret multiple and complex employee conditions such as awards, enterprise agreements as well as a sound understanding of current legislation such as superannuation, long service leave, Australian taxation and workers compensation. Proven ability to work as an effective team member within a collaborative team environment.
