This has opened up a great opportunity for a Senior Payroll Officer to join their team on a 6-month fixed-term contract.Joining the business at a time like this will allow you to put your own stamp on setting up new processes and procedures. An all-encompassing payroll position working closely and supporting the Payroll Manager.The ChallengeReporting directly to the Payroll Manager, as the Senior Payroll Officer you will be assisting the broader team and driving process improvements through the payroll function and broader business.Specifically, your responsibilities will include:Preparing and processing payroll on a weekly basisCompleting new starter and employee terminationsAward interpretation and applying relevant policies and proceduresReviewing and uploading time and attendance filesProviding support to management with month-end tasksSupporting management through month and year-end processes which includes preparing superannuation, payroll tax, WorkCover and executive bonus calculationsResponding to payroll related queriesAssisting with the management of the payroll teamThe ExpertisePlease consider expressing interest in this position if you possess the following:5+ years end to end payroll experienceExposure to high volume / fast-paced Payroll environmentsExcellent verbal and written communication skillsShould you be available to start work without a notice it will be viewed as advantageousiChris or Chris21 experience will be requiredThe Next StepIf this position will enhance your career and you would like further details on the client, the role, remuneration or a copy of the position description, please call Lachlan Aikman for a confidential discussion on 0477 016 439.
