Job DescriptionAt Junior Adventures Group we are on the hunt for a Senior Payroll Manager who has experience in managing large Payrolls and associated people systems. Ideally, you will also have experience with reviewing and implementing the roll-out of a fit-for-purpose payroll system or upgrade.About the roleThe role will be responsible for the management and accuracy of our JAG Australia payroll (3,500+ employees) and associated people systems by overseeing the payroll team, payroll system and time and attendance systems, people reporting and payroll replacement, ensuring data integrity, as well as ensuring award and legislative requirements are complied with.In this role, you will also:Drive automation/efficiency across our payroll processesProject manage the sourcing, configuration and implementation of our new Payroll system as well as all associated analytics.Assess automation opportunities such as Payroll system integrations with other existing and new HR Software.Run and maintain the new Payroll post-implementation, including T&A upgradeProvide quality reporting to JAG up to and including board reporting.Drive improvements to the employee payroll experience in particular, during onboarding and new starter setup.Ensure the highest level of compliance, data accuracy, data integrity and reporting in alignment with systems and business requirementsPerform quality control audits to ensure accuracyLead, train, and mentor your team, fostering a collaborative team environment aligned to business needsPlay a key role in relationship management with both internal and external support partners and other providers where contracts are held in P&CProactively provide guidance and solutions to JAG on areas of payroll risk and opportunities.About youYou will bring experience working in a fast-paced, high-volume environment with:Significant experience managing large payrolls of 2,000+ employees and time and attendance systems, with at least 5+ years in a leadership roleExpertise in managing payroll tax, statutory obligations, award interpretation, redundancies, terminations, and time, a high standard of reporting and insights, are a must!Deep understanding of both the operation and ideally the set-up of People systems and reporting - across Payroll, Reporting, Time and Attendance.
