Senior Payroll Analyst

We are recruiting for a customer-focused and enthusiastic professional to join the Shared Services Centre as a Senior Payroll Analyst located in Parramatta, NSW.
You will be joining a strong team culture where personal and professional growth is valued and your contributions towards our success are recognized.The role is a 12-month fixed-term Maternity Leave position, with a possible extension of up to 4 months beyond this time.What You'll Do:

End to end processing of company payrolls on a weekly and monthly basis related to super, tax, and payments.
Updating and maintaining employee payroll records.
Interpreting awards/agreements and contracts in relation to overtime and shift allowances, etc.
Calculation and processing of termination payments.
Processing increases and calculation of back pays.
Maintain employees' electronic files with appropriate records to meet legal obligations.
Payroll reporting to meet internal and statutory obligations.

This role is a great fit for you, if you have: Minimum 2 years' payroll experience.
A degree/diploma in HR or Accounting (highly desirable).
Intermediate experience using a large Payroll system as well as MS Excel skills.
A good understanding of the Australian Legislation for PAYG Tax, Superannuation, and Payroll Tax and related compliance obligations.
A team player who has a proven record of team collaboration.

A high attention to detail and are able to prioritize and organize your approach to your work and meet timelines.
