Senior Payroll Administrator

Company Our client is a leading Financial Services organisation.
Position Reporting to the Payroll Manager, this is an interim 3-month contract position for a Senior Payroll Administrator.
You will be responsible for processing payroll for Australia and New Zealand and duties will include: Assisting with the processing monthly payroll for circa 1600 employees Understanding the regulations around annual and long service leave accruals Setting up new starters PAYG and superannuation calculations Calculation of overpayments and termination payments Calculation of redundancies Preparation of separation certificates Responding to general queries and downloading documents from the system Profile The successful candidate will have a relevant tertiary qualification in a related discipline ideally Payroll and Accounting.
Have experience in payroll processing within a large organisation.
System experience in using enterprise packages and payroll software such as Chris 21, SAP and PeopleSoft would be advantageous with an Intermediate level of Microsoft Word and Excel being essential.
Preference for a candidate with established payroll experience along with excellent verbal, writing and communication skills.
