Jacobs has an opportunity for a Senior Pavement Engineer to join the Civil & Aviation team in Brisbane.

Reporting to the Section Leader – Civil & Aviation, you will provide consistent leadership and role modelling of Jacobs' core values, fostering an inclusive and diverse culture across the PU that embodies Jacobs' Culture of Caring and prioritises the health and wellbeing of people.
You will set clear direction regarding client focus and responsiveness and will help to ensure we can identify and anticipate client needs.

Key to this role will be the interface with GID delivery centres to improve delivery capability and to meet business plan targets.
The role will be responsible for project delivery, design management, project management, and winning projects.
The role will be instrumental in collaborating with commercial, technical, and operational leaders to create opportunities for Jacobs to plan, develop, deliver, and operate a range of projects.

Responsibilities: Provide engineering design management and project leadership to the Transport sector.Lead and provide technical direction to the design team.Manage and undertake technical reviews of deliverables.Attend and participate in project and client meetings.Contribute to marketing opportunities for new business.Project manage design and/or construction projects in accordance with Jacobs systems and processes.Ensure compliance with all requirements of design quality system.Work with Sales and relevant Section Leaders to implement Jacobs Client Relationship Strategy.Maintain and build on existing client relationships.Support and promote a strong service delivery to internal and external clients. Here's what you'll need: Relevant tertiary qualification in Civil Engineering.Experience in a similar role.
Work experience in a consulting environment (preferred).Team player with strong interpersonal and communication skills.Proactive and business-minded.Jacobs.
