GenesisCare has an exciting opportunity for an experienced Administration Manager/Senior Patient Services Officer to join our Oncology centre based in Wembley, WA.
This is a hands-on leadership role that provides day-to-day oversight of the patient services team and patient accounts, keeping the team motivated, engaged, and on track to consistently deliver patient-centric services within the Oncology practice.
More specifically, you will: Lead and inspire your team by providing direction, supervision, support, and recognition of staff activities.
Promote collaboration, cooperation, and teamwork through effective leadership and management strategies.
Drive change and innovation by initiating and supporting change strategies across the practice.
Provide data and leadership that align with GenesisCare's vision and ethos, and develop patient-focused change strategies, programs, and initiatives.
Champion high levels of patient services by meeting patient needs, maintaining service levels, and responding to patient feedback.
Understand and manage patient registration and billing systems, including assisting with patient accounts as needed.
Build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
Support initiatives designed to improve clerical staff engagement.
Commit to developing others through effective performance management and development processes.
Provide ongoing feedback and performance coaching to staff.
We're looking for someone who has: Experienced in managing and leading a team of 3 or more staff.
Skilled in providing excellent customer service in a healthcare environment.
Proficient in medical administration and reception management.
Strong in management and communication skills, with the ability to liaise with and effectively influence staff and patients.
A leader who aligns with the organisation's values and demonstrates excellent leadership.
Collaborative and flexible in delivering exceptional patient-centred services.
Proactive in implementing continuous improvement and change initiatives.
Effective in problem-solving as issues arise.
Knowledgeable in medical accounts processing, including Medicare, DVA, and private health funds.
Capable of using clinical administration systems and Microsoft Office software for data analysis and reporting Holding a Diploma of Medical Administration or equivalent experience (desired).
