As a body, we have been encouraged over these past few weeks and months by the growing sense of unity among us, even amidst the tremendous loss of our senior pastor, Jeff Godwin, whom our Lord called home after nearly 20 years of ministry at Northside.
We owe our blessings wholly to our Savior and meekly trust it as evidence that our eyes are properly focused on Him.
As a church, we desire to please Him with our worship and be about His work here on the earth.
Individually, we long to feast upon His Word, continually reform our lives, build up His Kingdom, and to hear Him say, "Well done, good and faithful servant" when He finally calls us home.
To this end, we continue to pray with eager expectation for our Lord to lead us to our next pastor.

By God's grace, Northside has been faithfully meeting for 31 years.
We have been on our current property for 20 years and in our current building for 6.
For the past 4 years, we have seen steady growth and hope to be able to plant a daughter church within the next 5-10 years.
We are a theologically conservative and confessional flock that values biblical preaching on the whole counsel of God.
Our congregation esteems worship that follows the Regulative Principal in seeking to balance the confessions, hymns, and creeds in a Reformed, blended traditional-contemporary worship service.
We aspire to collaborative servant leadership with our Session and committees that follows the outline laid out in the Book of Church Order.
In other words, Northside strongly desires to maintain our church's historical character and practice.
We trust that the Lord truly directs the steps of all His children, and therefore we look forward to His working all things for good according to His purpose.
