Senior Pastor

The Bathurst Baptist Church, in the Central West of NSW is seeking applications for a full time pastor.
Presently there are 70 active members and in March 2023 the church celebrated 160 years of worship and ministry in Bathurst.
We currently have an Interim Pastor, part-time Administration Officer/ PA to Pastor, a leadership team consisting of Elders and Deacons, Safe Church Team and WHS Team. We follow a well developed constitution.
With the leaving of our last pastor and the impacts of the disruption from Covid the church's numbers declined but at present there is a positive optimism within the fellowship. The church has an increased number of volunteers stepping up to take responsibility and contribute to the activities of the church and is looking forward with excitement to the future.
In applying for this position candidates must obtain and read a copy of the Position Description and address how they believe they can meet the main elements in the Position Description including the Main Duties/Responsibilities and the Essential and Desirable Qualifications.
Remuneration and other details of appointment are included in the Position Description but generally they follow the recommendations in the Baptist Churches of NSW and ACT Remuneration Recommendations 2023 or the latest revision.
