The Opportunity

Netball Australia are excited to start the search for our next team member to undertake the exciting position of Senior Partnerships Lead; to support the fulfilment of commercial contractual benefits, as well as delivery of leverage campaigns in conjunction with partners.
The position incumbent will be responsible for the following key areas:

Partnership Management

Management of Netball Australia major commercial partnerships to ensure delivery of sponsorship commitments and ensure leverage plans are aligned to NA objectives

Deliver partners strategy, execution, and analysis as related to netball and deliver on their business priorities

In consultation with the Partnership Servicing Manager, establish KPI's and objectives with each partner and maintain continuous communication to ensure KPI's and objectives are met as per established timelines

Establish a detailed understanding of commercial partners' marketing plans and develop, deliver, and review creative concepts for partners to deliver enhanced leveraging opportunities and potentially increase revenue for the business

Work with the Events team regarding all match day and contracted deliverables for partners across Super Netball League, International Test Series, Australian Netball Championships and other netball related events

Liaise with the media and marketing team to ensure development of media schedules for partners

Drive internal brand advocacy and understanding across all relevant internal stakeholders

Work with the Head of Commercial and Commercial Manager on renewal strategies for existing partners

Working with the Partnerships Servicing Manager, co-ordinate post event reporting for partners

Ensure understanding and buy-in for commercial partnerships across the organisation

Communicate well, maintain good business relationships, and represent Netball Australia positively

Financials

Assist with partner and supplier invoicing

Contribute to development of partner servicing budget

Contract Management

Clear understanding of partnership agreements to enable support for Partnership Leads as and when required

Assist with partnership renewals by preparing detailed documentation on existing partnerships, in conjunction with Head of Commercial, and identify areas for growth

Assist with the updating of the Super Netball League Manual each year and ensure Member Organisations are involved and across the requirements and responsibilities

Staff Development

Manage the Partnership Leads and ensure they have the support to fulfill their roles

Contribute to building a high performing culture across the Organisation

Alignment with the broader department Commercial Strategy

Other key skills, behaviors and specialist knowledge required:

A minimum of 5 years' experience in a similar position

Demonstrated experience of success within a high performing, objectives driven environment

Strong people management skills with a proven ability to set priorities, plan work programs, meet deadlines and manage time effectively

Partnership account management at senior level, with an ability to work as part of a team

Excited by challenges and motivated to find solutions that work for all parties

Ability to work autonomously and simultaneously as an integral team member

Proven experience managing internal and external key stakeholders and conflicting priorities within a fast-paced environment

Ability to establish strong and mutually beneficial relationships

Marketing planning and execution including development of media schedules

Extremely strong interpersonal, engagement and communication capabilities

Flexible, adaptable and resilient

Strong initiative and pro-active problem solving

Influencing and negotiating skills
