Are you up for the challenge? About the team - The AIS Engineering team is responsible for working with sports and other partners to identify, prioritise and deploy an applied technology, innovation and human performance agenda through the development of customised sporting equipment solutions for Australia's Olympic and Paralympic athletes.
About the role – You will be responsible for managing the development of world-leading custom equipment and technology solutions for our Paralympic athletes.
Working in a team of sport engineers, you will use the latest technology to support your creativity.
You will be encouraged to take a collaborative approach to your equipment projects, working with relevant experts to ensure successful project delivery.
About you – You will have: 5 years minimum experience working in a Sports, Mechanical, Biomedical or other relevant Engineering role.
Excellent time management and experience managing end-to-end delivery of engineering technology to external clients.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
High-quality workshop production skills and demonstrated mechanical craftsmanship.
This position is offered as a FIXED TERM position until 30th June 2026 with the possibility of being extended or made ongoing.
