About the roleWe are seeking a detail-oriented and adaptable Senior Paralegal with strong legal knowledge, excellent communication skills and a commitment to continuous improvement to join our Public and General Litigation and Civil Litigation Teams.
The position is advertised as a Senior Paralegal; however, the official job title is a Managing Law Clerk.

The Senior Paralegal at the State Solicitor's Office plays a vital role in providing comprehensive paralegal and administrative support to legal officers across various sections, including Civil Litigation and Native Title.
This position involves managing complex and sensitive legal files, drafting intricate legal documents, and facilitating effective communication between stakeholders.
The Senior Paralegal also assists the Office in developing and promoting a culture of continuous improvement while ensuring high standards of legal service delivery and contributing to the Office's mission of providing timely and cost-effective legal services to the Government.
About usThe State Solicitor's Office is responsible for the provision of broad-based, high-quality legal services to the Government of Western Australia and to a wide range of state government client departments and agencies including advice on law reform.
