We are looking for a talented and data-driven Paid Search Specialist to join our Australia-based marketing team.
The Paid Search Specialist will work closely with our Head of Paid Media & Customer Acquisition to align on roadmaps, provide insights, and build and manage our Google Ads campaigns.
The ideal candidate will have at least 3 years of experience in paid search, be working day in day out in paid search and be up to date with best practices, speaking to Google, learning from peers, and constantly reading blogs about new products.
Importantly, they should have the mindset of always testing and learning.
The ideal candidate will have experience with Search, Performance Max, Demand Gen, Google Shopping, Google Merchant Center, and managing the connections through Rezdy to Google Ads.
RequirementsDevelop, implement, and optimize paid search campaigns on Google Search.Conduct keyword research and analysis to identify growth opportunities.Monitor and analyze campaign performance, providing regular reports and insights.Help to develop testing backlogs and implement A/B testing strategies to improve campaign performance.Utilize data and automation to enhance campaign efficiency.Create data visualizations and in-depth reports using tools like Google Data Studio.Collaborate with the creative and content teams to develop effective ad copy and landing pages.Ensure compliance with data privacy regulations such as GDPR and CCPA.Assist with Meta or other paid media advertising campaigns as needed.Nice to haves (not mandatory): Google Tag Manager and technical skillset to tag more complex conversion points.Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Advertising, Communications, or a related field.A minimum of 3 years of experience in paid media, specifically in search engine marketing.Proven experience with Google Search, Google Things to Do, and Google Merchant Center.Strong analytical skills and proficiency in using tools like GA4 and Google Sheets utilizing formulas.Ability to interpret data and make data-driven decisions.Excellent communication and teamwork skills.Certification in Google Ads.Experience with Meta advertising is desirable but not required, verification a bonus.Experience with data analysis and visualization tools.Understanding of AI and machine learning applications in SEM.Knowledge of multi-touch attribution.
