Broken HillAn exciting opportunity exists in the FWLHD Brighter Beginnings program for a clinician to extend service to Paediatric consumers in rural and remote communities. We are accepting applications for young career Speech Pathologists up to Level 3 and support innovative practice delivered via different modalities.What you'll be doing:This Allied Health Professional is an integral part of the multidisciplinary health care team providing, planning and delivering comprehensive, high-quality care to clients within the Far West Local Health District (FWLHD) Brighter Beginnings program in order to support management of their health needs and to promote wellness.The Level 3 Senior Clinical Speech Pathologist is responsible for providing a range of high-level assessment, therapeutic and preventative Speech Pathology services in their identified specialty area, within scope, according to relevant models of care and priorities.Demonstrate advanced reasoning skills and operate with minimal direct clinical supervision.What is on offer:5 weeks annual leaveSalary packaging (pay less tax!), enjoy up to $9k for living expenses, $2.6k for meals and entertainmentNovated LeasingPaid Allocated Day Off (ADO) Every MonthFitness Passport and EAP to maintain your health and wellbeingIsolation and Climate AllowanceProfessional development with support through advanced education & training to help you develop your careerA comfortable country lifestyle that supports balance & wellbeingMinimum Requirements:Holds a tertiary qualification in Speech Pathology and eligibility for membership of Speech Pathology Australia.Demonstrated advanced clinical practice knowledge, skills and experience within Paediatric Speech Pathology, with an emphasis on evidence-based practice.Experience in developing and implementing policies and procedures for service improvement, with skills in providing education and training.Strong time management skills, written and verbal communication and IT skills including the ability or willingness to use Telehealth as a mode of delivery of clinical care.Demonstrated ability to initiate, lead, implement and evaluate quality improvement initiatives, research, and service development processes.Demonstrated experience in clinical and team leadership, including experience in staff and student supervision.Demonstrated excellence in communication skills including negotiation, decision making, advocacy and the ability to interact constructively and collaboratively with a diverse range of stakeholders.Evidence of a Class C drivers licence and willingness to travel for work purposes.How to Apply:To be considered for this position, please ensure you address the selection criteria in the application as thoroughly as possible by selecting APPLY NOW below.Applications Close:
