The Therapy for Kids & Families (TKF) team provides specialised mental health support for children under 12, addressing complex emotional and behavioural issues within family contexts.What you'll be doingThe Senior Paediatric Mental Health Clinician role is part of a multidisciplinary team, focused on supporting children and families facing complex mental health challenges through direct interventions, collaboration, and advocacy.Deliver family-focused mental health interventions through evidence-based therapeutic approaches.Collaborate with children, families, and stakeholders, offering advocacy, education, and skills training.Work within a multidisciplinary team to ensure integrated, specialist care across services.Support clinical supervision and skill development for team members and students.Lead quality improvement, research, and partnerships to enhance mental health services.Provide therapeutic and psychiatric interventions for children and families.Collaborate with families and key stakeholders to develop treatment plans.Support team members with clinical expertise and supervision.Lead quality improvement and clinical research initiatives.Foster partnerships with government and community services for integrated care.How to ApplyApply online by submitting your resume and addressing the criteria listed below by providing examples that demonstrate your ability before the closing date.Qualifications: Accredited post-graduate Masters or Doctorate degree in Clinical Psychology. Relevant tertiary qualification in Nursing, Social Work or Occupational Therapy.Registration: Full registration as a Psychologist with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) and endorsement in the area of Clinical Psychology.
