About the role: Based in either Brisbane or Gold Coast, the Senior HR Business Partner is the most senior HR role in the region and will have responsibility for roughly 4000 employees across Queensland, NT and Western Australia.
Reporting to the Head of HR Business Partnering, you will join an established business partnering team within a dispersed CoE model and will be the strategic people lead for the region while collaborating across the business and broader people function to operationalise key objectives within the people program.
You will: Partner with the Executive stakeholder for this region, and their leadership team, in the prioritisation, development and implementation of aligned objectives including key areas of engagement, talent, and leadership capability.
Combine hands-on and strategic engagement with a diverse range of stakeholders as well as collaborate with a dispersed people team in the coordination and execution of a broad generalist program.
Be a proactive partner and trusted HR leader to the local and national teams – seeking opportunities for enhancing the employee experience, identifying efficiencies and problem solving outcomes.

About You: Ideally, you will have experience in the health sector (or similar, aligned sectors).
Familiarity with a large, dispersed and complex workforce, blending blue & white collar and unionised environments, is important.
Strong generalist business partnering toolkit that includes workforce planning, engagement, talent management and change management in addition to ER/IR.
You are comfortable straddling the day-to-day with a broader strategic view.
A genuine interest in spending time out in the business and a passion for developing your commercial acumen – you will have a history of forming long-lasting relationships with senior and executive level stakeholders.
This organisation offers flexibility and a hybrid working environment and can be based in either their Brisbane or Gold Coast locations.
It will also involve occasional travel across the region (including interstate).
