The Opportunity
At APA, our purpose is simple: to strengthen communities through responsible energy. We now have an exciting opportunity available for an OT Scada Project Engineer to join our Transformation & Technology team in Brisbane, Perth or Melbourne office on a permanent full-time basis. Reporting to the OT Engineering Team Lead - SCADA and OT Cyber, you will play a key role to provide engineering design, development, implementation and support services for selected operational technologies in use at APA including ClearSCADA, OSI Pi, Synergee Pipeline. The location for this role is flexible and hybrid; we will consider locations all over Australia and/or home office. We will also consider job share arrangements.
Key Responsibilities

Develop and manage the delivery of OT programs of work to achieve business outcomes by providing technical design and consultancy services for the operational technology services offered by OT Engineering.
Provide technical leadership to resolve conflicts in a way that benefits the program and accountable for day-to-day operations of resourcing, scheduling, prioritisation and task coordination on projects.
Accountable for meeting project milestones, objectives and deliverables within agreed timeframes and budgets.
Provide expert guidance to OT project teams including mentoring, perform process improvement activities, contribute to standards and the production of automation tools to improve efficiency.
Proactively develop effective working relationships with internal and external stakeholders and liaise with internal suppliers and customers to manage expectations and ensure that agreed outcomes are achieved.

Your Background
Tertiary qualification in Electrical & Electronics, Control System Engineering, Process or Chemical Engineering with Seven (Plus) years' experience in the design, construction, operation or maintenance of technology for power generation, power transmission, renewables, gas transmission, gas processing, LNG, chemical processing, utilities or associated industries.
Excellent knowledge including Project Management experience of at least one of the following technologies: GeoSCADA, OSIsoft Pi, Synergi Pipeline Simulator, AlarmPT, Microgrids, Future Fuel and OT Cyber Security.
Knowledge of relevant statutory requirements, Australian and international codes and standards and working knowledge of Environmental Health and Safety legislative requirements.
Client focused with strong written and verbal communication skills and demonstrated experience in leading project teams in delivering operational technology projects.
Demonstrated experience in delivering technology change to existing system using project management tools, lifecycles and methodologies.
