Job Title: Senior Integration / PaaS Consultant

About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced Integration / PaaS Consultant to join a leading Oracle practice team in Sydney. This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a high-performing team, driving integration solutions and custom extensions in cloud and on-premise environments. As a senior member of the team, you will be responsible for leading technical streams, ensuring best practices, and delivering successful integration projects.

Key Responsibilities: Lead technical workstreams, managing both onshore and offshore team members. Develop technical design solutions for building integrations and custom extensions. Build and maintain interfaces within a defined framework for integration solutions and custom extensions. Troubleshoot and resolve interface issues promptly. Document integration and custom extension solutions comprehensively. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to analyze, design, and implement integration solutions or custom extensions that meet project needs. Research and apply technological advancements to continuously improve solutions in line with industry standards. Key Skills & Experience: Experience in Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC) for cloud and on-premise application integrations is mandatory. Proven experience in technical lead or integration lead roles on Integration, ERP, or HCM projects is essential. 10+ years of experience in developing, maintaining, and supporting integration applications. Strong experience designing and/or developing extensions using Oracle VBCS (Visual Builder Cloud Service) or Oracle APEX is highly desirable. Experience with data migration processes for Oracle ERP Cloud, including end-to-end data migration approaches. Skilled in estimating design, build, deployment, and testing efforts based on integration patterns. Strong background in facilitating and leading design workshops with clients, guiding development efforts for integrations or custom extensions. Experience implementing error handling, rollback, and notification features in integration solutions. Familiarity with SVN for version control and Jenkins for continuous integration. Solid understanding of Java/J2EE concepts. Knowledge of messaging standards such as SOAP, REST, WS-*, and JSON. Hands-on experience using various adapters (Oracle Apps, JMS, File, FTP, DB, AQ). Deep understanding of Enterprise RDBMS, ER diagrams, and developing PL/SQL programs. Proficient in database technologies, including SQL, procedures, triggers, and DB links for integration needs. Excellent communication, documentation, and organizational skills. Strong problem-solving capabilities, with the ability to multitask and meet deadlines/SLA.
