About the role
Rabobank's Operations Payments & Processing team sits within the Operations area of the COO Domain. Due to an internal movement the team have an opening for a Senior Payments Officer.
This role is based in Sydney & will work a hybrid mix of the CBD office & at home. Reporting to the Team Leader, Payments, you will provide outstanding customer service, value & expertise to existing & potential customers & stakeholders & play a crucial role in the team's success.
Top Role Accountabilities: Supervise, set up, & delegate daily workloads, ensuring smooth operationsMeet individual performance, behavioural & value-based targets & expectations including productivity, quality & value goalsProactively manage customer relationships to retain & deepen their relationship with the bankIdentify & address risks proactively to safeguard our operationsActively participate in team meetings & business initiatives to enhance the overall customer experienceCoach & train colleagues on key processes to ensure consistency & excellence across the teamProactively action & complete all administrative tasks within timelinesComplete data analysis, review data sets & reconcile accounts as neededPerform quality assurance on colleagues' work & communicate performance metrics & issues to the Team LeaderPerform other duties as required To be successful you will have: 5 + years' experience banking operationsAn understanding of Australian transactional banking processes & proceduresA customer service-oriented mindsetExcellent attention to detailStrong analytical & problem-solving abilitiesSound troubleshooting skillsGood written & verbal communication skillsBe a proven team player What we're proud to offer you: Rabo@Anywhere is our hybrid way of working at Rabobank & for Australia, that means we have a blend of time working between the office & home.
