Dubbo based Senior Operations Leader Ongoing full-time opportunity Salary relative to experience, and ranges from $125,487 to $138,386 + super Our North-West Biodiversity Conservation Division is seeking a suitably experienced professional to join their Compliance and Regulation Team as Senior Operations Leader . This position is pivotal to the protection of the environmental assets of the State including native vegetation, protected flora and fauna, Aboriginal objects and places.
About You As Senior Operations Leader, you will lead the implementation of credible compliance, audit and regulation programs within the region that will ensure the delivery of best practice regulation and outcomes that are consistent with policy and statutory requirements.
You will be required undertake a range of compliance-related activities including desktop assessments, reviewing agreements, engaging stakeholders, issuing statutory notices, conducting interviews and gathering evidence with a view to determining responses that are timely, fair, proportionate and consistent with statutory requirements. As a lead member of the team, it is expected that you will consistently demonstrate the values and behaviours that contribute to a constructive, high-performance culture.
The Senior Operations leader: Provides specialist knowledge and experience to operational activities of the team undertaking environmental regulation Participates in the review, development, delivery, evaluation and reporting of operational programs Coaches and mentors operational team members to meet performance expectations in line with organisational objectives.
