Job Purpose: As a Senior Operations Coordinator, you will be responsible for the end-to-end lifecycle of key accounts assigned to you. This includes overseeing and optimizing the operations processes to drive process efficiency and better coordination, which eventually leads to customer satisfaction. You will impact the business by maintaining strong customer relationships, providing guidance to junior operators, and ensuring seamless management of key accounts from pricing to development. Emphasis is placed on effective communication, strategic planning, and maintaining high standards of service delivery throughout all operational facets.
Core Responsibilities: Supervise and manage all aspects of import and export logistics, including documentation, customs clearance, and coordination with carriers and freight forwarders. Manage and maintain major customer relationships, overseeing pricing, invoicing, and ongoing account development to ensure satisfaction and retention. Proactively collaborate with suppliers, carriers, and other stakeholders to streamline processes and identify and resolve the root cause of issues. Ensure invoices are accurate and issued promptly to customers. Mentor and train junior team members. Other tasks as assigned. Qualifications: Minimum five (5) years' experience in logistics, supply chain or equivalent. Proven experience with handling project or out-of-gauge shipments. Working experience with Cargowise is preferred. Ability to multitask and prioritize effectively. Adaptability, analytical skills, versatility and ability to work under pressure. Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities. Detail-oriented and capable of problem-solving in a dynamic environment. Required Skills: Technical Expertise: Proficiency in utilizing Cargowise and OOG Logistics to manage and optimize specialized cargo operations. Import-Export Logistics: Strong understanding and experience in streamlining import and export logistics processes. Customer Relationship Management: Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with major customer accounts, ensuring satisfaction and retention. Account Management: Proven ability to manage key accounts comprehensively, including pricing strategies, invoicing, and developmental initiatives. Communication Skills: Effective verbal and written communication skills, essential for internal coordination and customer interactions. Service Excellence: Commitment to maintaining high standards of service delivery and continuous improvement across all operational aspects. Problem-Solving: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, capable of addressing challenges in a dynamic operational environment.
