This is a broad and hands-on role, ideal for a leader who excels at both strategic and operational levels.Key ResponsibilitiesStrategic Leadership: Under direction of the Board, develop and drive firm-wide strategies that support our growth, operational excellence, and commitment to client success.Operations Management: Oversee daily operations across all departments, ensuring alignment with our strategic goals and client service standards.Financial Oversight: Work with our accountants to manage budgeting, financial forecasting, and cash flow, optimizing resources and maximizing profitability.Process Optimization: Streamline workflows to boost productivity, improve file management, and drive operational efficiencies.Human Resources Development: In accordance with Board's strategic decisions, lead talent management, including hiring, onboarding, and professional development of all staff including support staff so as to foster a high-performance culture.Technology Integration: Drive the adoption of modern technology, an updated practice management system and ensure efficient, secure, and seamless operations.Risk Management & Compliance: Oversee compliance with regulatory requirements and ethical standards, mitigating risk firm-wide.Business Development Support: Collaborate with our business development partner to expand our client base and market presence.Performance Metrics & Reporting: Establish KPIs, monitor performance, and provide insights to the executive team and Principals.Culture & Change Management: Under direction of the Board, play an integral role in leading cultural initiatives and manage change effectively as we continue to grow.Qualifications & ExperienceProven experience in a senior operational or similar role, ideally within a law firm or professional services firm.Strong strategic thinking, financial acumen, and operational expertise.Exceptional leadership and interpersonal skills with a focus on team development.Technology-driven with a passion for process improvement.A proper understanding of risk management and compliance within a legal setting.Your application will include the following questions:Which of the following statements best describes your right to work in Australia?How many years' experience do you have with change management?
