As a Senior Offshore Pre-Commissioning Engineer, you will be responsible for ensuring the successful pre-commissioning of subsea production systems, pipelines, and carbon capture and storage (CCS) systems.

What you'll do The role responsibilities include:
Pre-Commissioning Planning and Execution: Develop comprehensive pre-commissioning plans for subsea production systems, pipelines, and CCS infrastructure, including cleaning, testing, and inspection protocols. Oversee and coordinate pre-commissioning activities, ensuring compliance with project specifications, industry standards, and safety regulations. Pipeline Systems: Manage pre-commissioning tasks for pipelines, including hydrotesting, chemical cleaning, and pigging operations. Verify that pipeline construction and fabrication meet required specifications and standards during the pre-commissioning phase. Subsea Production Systems: Supervise the pre-commissioning of subsea production equipment, ensuring all systems are thoroughly tested and validated prior to installation and operation. Collaborate with engineering teams to resolve technical issues related to subsea systems and implement necessary modifications. Carbon Capture and Storage (CCS): Oversee pre-commissioning activities for CCS systems, ensuring effective integration with subsea and pipeline infrastructure. Apply expertise in CCS technologies to ensure the successful deployment and operation of CO2 capture and storage systems. FEED Experience: Support FEED activities by providing input on system design, integration, and pre-commissioning requirements. Write and review specifications for pre-commissioning activities, ensuring they adhere to industry standards and project requirements. Technical and Practical Experience: Apply practical experience in pre-commissioning activities to provide hands-on support and troubleshooting as needed. Utilize practical knowledge to guide and mentor junior engineers and technical staff in pre-commissioning tasks. Documentation and Reporting: Prepare detailed reports and documentation of pre-commissioning activities, including test results, inspection reports, and compliance certifications. Maintain accurate records of pre-commissioning outcomes for project tracking and regulatory compliance. CO2 / Hydrogen Experience (Bonus): Apply knowledge of CO2 and hydrogen technologies to enhance pre-commissioning processes for related systems. Contribute to the development and implementation of strategies for the effective handling and integration of CO2 and hydrogen infrastructure. What you'll have Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Petroleum Engineering, or a related field.
A Master's degree or relevant professional certification is a plus. Relevant years of experience in subsea production system and pipeline pre-commissioning within the offshore gas energy sector. Extensive knowledge of subsea production systems, pipelines, CCS infrastructure, and associated pre-commissioning procedures. Proficiency in writing and reviewing specifications to industry standards. Familiarity with FEED (Front-End Engineering Design) processes and practical pre-commissioning experience.
