Full time Continuing positionAlbury Wodonga Campus LocationHEO5About the position The Senior Officer is part of, and reports to, the central Student Campus Engagement team. The role collaborates with on-campus colleagues and university staff (including Office of the Head of Campus, Student Associations, Student Accommodation, Marketing, Customer Care, and other university staff) as well as other internal and external stakeholders to support students at every stage of the student life cycle.
The Senior Officer plans and delivers tailored student events and activations within the campus context while also contributing to institution-wide events and initiatives. Responsibilities include event design, planning, delivery, and evaluation. Tasks include data collection, creating event briefs and compliance documentation, site maps, managing survey tools, monitoring and maintaining event reports, and stakeholder communication.
Skills and Experience To be considered for this position, you will have:
Completion of a degree with/without subsequent relevant work experience; or an equivalent combination of relevant experience and/or education/training.Demonstrated capacity to work independently, deliver outputs in a timely manner, and take responsibility for outcomes.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a demonstrated customer service focus and solution-oriented approach.Demonstrated ability to work effectively and efficiently, set priorities, follow established procedures, and contribute positively to a team.High-level proficiency in computer software packages (Office 365 suite), including word processing, spreadsheets, databases, electronic mail, and the use of the internet as a research tool.Please refer to the Position Description for other duties, skills, and experience required for this position.
