Details: The Project Coordinator position supports the implementation of government initiatives particularly involving changes to the driver licence and vehicle registration database, providing sound advice, with a high attention to detail and negotiation skills.
This successful applicant will work closely with various stakeholders to provide strategic product direction, through constant communication with project teams, managing priorities and ensuring alignment with senior management, while also looking for opportunities for improvement and remaining adaptive in a changing regulatory environment.
Reporting to the Director and working closely with the Senior Director, the Project Coordinator will build, manage, and maintain high-quality collaborative and constructive relationships across the Licensing and Registrations Branch, Digital Design and Delivery Branch, ACT Government, and relevant external entities to drive positive outcomes.

Eligibility/Other Requirements: Understanding of project management principles and the systems development life cycle (SDLC) are desirable but not essential.Knowledge of tools such as Microsoft Azure DevOps is desirable but not essential.Well-developed writing skills are highly desirable.Note: This is a temporary position available immediately until 30 June 2025 with the possibility of extension up to 12 months. This position will be moving to a new workplace designed for activity-based working (ABW). Under ABW arrangements, officers will not have a designated workstation/desk. A Merit Pool will be established from this selection process and will be used to fill vacancies over the next 12 months.
