Stakeholder Engagement and Partnerships
Full-time Temporary with a Possibility of PermanencyDetails: The position of Manager - Stakeholder Engagement and Partnerships is available in the team that manages engagement projects for the SLA working closely with the Executive and senior management team throughout the SLA.
We are seeking people with a professional, proactive and enthusiastic approach who can draw on and build strong relationships with key stakeholders and support our internal teams to continue to achieve excellence in engagement.
The Thriving Communities, Community Development & Engagement team connects with the community and stakeholders to:
Seek input from the community.Build working relationships with industry and community stakeholders.Support networks in new greenfield estates.Manage the Mingle program.The Manager – Stakeholder Engagement and Partnerships will work closely with team members to:
Implement and co-manage the Suburban Land Agency's Stakeholder Engagement Strategy.Provide strategic advice and outcome-focused solutions regarding stakeholder engagement in line with SLA and Whole of Government policies and expectations.Work across all business areas of the Suburban Land Agency to prepare and implement traditional and digital engagement strategies.Establish, foster and maintain strategic relationships with other government agencies, community groups, key stakeholders, and other external bodies.Develop a range of communication materials for different audiences to support the Suburban Land Agency's engagement campaigns.Support media and social media monitoring, evaluation, and reporting of engagement activities.Organise and attend consultation activities and analyse and communicate results – both face-to-face and online.Present ideas and results to internal and external stakeholders and manage community feedback.Analyse, identify, and review risks and develop associated risk management plans and operational plans related to engagement activities.Draft written documentation such as reports, briefs, submissions, guidelines, and media releases.Ensure compliance with relevant governance, legislative, regulatory requirements, and professional and ethical standards.Assist in managing budgets and maximise cost-effectiveness/compliance of external suppliers in accordance with relevant legislative requirements.Understand and work within the ACTPS Code of Conduct and ACTPS values of respect, integrity, collaboration, and innovation, and model behaviours consistent with the ACTPS Respect, Equity, and Diversity framework.Lead, guide, and develop a small team.Participate in the Public Information Coordination Centre (PICC) in times of a Territory emergency, if required.Note: This is a temporary position available for three months with the possibility of extension up to 12 months and/or permanency. A Merit Pool will be established from this selection process and will be used to fill vacancies over the next 12 months.
