Senior Officer, Future Student EngagementApply now Job no: 564559Work type: Full-timeLocation: WarrnamboolCategories: Marketing and Communications, Student ServicesBased at our Warrnambool campus, with travel to Western District Regions.Why work with us?At Deakin, you will have access to benefits such as a variety of leave options including generous parental leave and the ability to purchase additional leave; flexible working arrangements to help manage your work-life balance; ongoing learning and development opportunities to grow your career; an inclusive and supportive culture and environment to work in, both online and on campus.In this role, you'll:Promote Deakin's courses to prospective students and their key influencers.Represent the university at events and provide accurate information about our programs and application processes.Support the coordination and execution of engagement strategies, programs, and activities, including presentations, campus tours, and expos.Build strong relationships with secondary school career advisors and internal stakeholders to understand needs and deliver effective services.As a Senior Officer, Future Student Engagement, you will:Develop and implement practical solutions tailored to stakeholder needs.Plan and prioritize work effectively, strategically organizing tasks and addressing potential barriers to success.Seek and act on client feedback to improve service and address any issues.Provide ethical and insightful advice that promotes positive outcomes and aligns with client needs.Demonstrate commitment and integrity in all professional activities.To be successful, you'll have:A relevant degree with subsequent experience, or extensive specialist knowledge in technical or administrative fields.An equivalent combination of experience and/or training in marketing, communications, or PR.Proven experience in marketing, student recruitment, communications, account management, events, or related areas.Demonstrated ability to manage projects or programs to meet key objectives effectively.Superior interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills, with experience in CRM systems and advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office.SPECIAL REQUIREMENTSRegular work outside business hours is required.Regular travel will be required.Driver's Licence.Working with Children Check.Here's how to apply:Please submit your updated resume and a short cover letter outlining your skills and experience.
