Senior Officer, Business Partnering
Full-time PermanentDetails: The Senior Officer role sits within Suburban Land Agency's (SLA) Business Partnering team and reports to the Director, Business Partnering.
As the Senior Officer you will collaborate across teams within the SLA providing advice and support. The position requires an analytical and dynamic thinker who can monitor and track the progress of multiple tasks to meet tight deadlines and tax compliance requirements.
The primary functions of the role include:
Assist with monthly and annual tax compliance activities.Developing, implementing and maintaining financial and taxation policies and procedures.Support the team in the provision of advice in relation to the tax treatment of land sales and contracts.Undertake other duties and functions appropriate to this classification level which contribute to the effective and efficient operation of the team.We are committed to creating an inclusive environment where people with diverse thoughts, lived experience, and perspectives can thrive and contribute their unique talents to the ACTPS and ACT community.
