Professional 3 (Remuneration Package $130,039 - $145,437) Occupational Therapy Department, Alice Springs Hospital Ongoing vacancy in Alice Springs We are seeking an experienced Occupational Therapist to join us in the rehabilitation services at Alice Springs Hospital. The Occupational Therapy team is a passionate, creative team that values its high-quality service and collaboration across multiple disciplines to help achieve the most positive outcomes for their patients. You will work in a remote setting that will contribute to the continuum of patient care by providing high-quality, comprehensive, and culturally appropriate occupational therapy services in a sub-acute rehabilitation setting. You will provide high-quality and evidence-based Occupational Therapy expertise as part of the Occupational Therapy team. You will be provided support with regular clinical supervision and have the opportunity to be involved in continuous quality improvement projects and supervising junior students.
Alice Springs Hospital is an accredited modern 207-bed teaching hospital providing services to adult, aged, and paediatric populations living in Alice Springs and surrounding regions, covering a vast catchment area of almost one million square kilometres.
You will possess relevant qualifications in Occupational Therapy that meet membership eligibility requirements for registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA). You will have rehabilitation or relevant similar clinical experience, demonstrated awareness of multicultural issues and their impact on clinical practice, and an ability to interact effectively with people from diverse cultures.
