The senior occupational therapist provides clinical governance, leadership and expertise within occupational therapy services including the provision of safe, timely, compassionate and high-quality person-centered care.

Recognised Degree in Occupational Therapy or other qualification deemed appropriate by the employer, with registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA).Demonstrated advanced clinical skills and significant experience in the provision of occupational therapy services within a varied paediatric caseload including working with children and their families with a range of clinical conditions and complex social backgrounds.Demonstrated experience in the identification of evidence-based practice and/or development of treatment protocols.Demonstrated experience participating in the planning, implementation and evaluation of local service delivery incorporating the quality improvement process.Demonstrated high-level organisational and time management skills.Demonstrated experience in the provision of clinical supervision, mentoring of staff and/or students.Excellent written and verbal communication skills and computer literacy in a range of programs.Applicants must possess an Australian C-Class driver's license (including P1 or P2). Those who hold a C class license (P1 or P2 included) from a state other than NSW must obtain a NSW C class (P1 or P2 included) license within three months of appointment. Learner's licenses are not permitted.To be eligible for permanent appointment to a position in NSW Health, you must have Australian citizenship or permanent Australian residency.
