The Opportunity
We have an exciting opportunity for a Senior Network Administrator to join the KBR team. You will be responsible for managing and maintaining the Cisco network and Palo Alto security infrastructure.
Responsibilities include:
Monitor network performance, troubleshoot issues, and implement solutions to optimize network efficiency and reliability
Participate in IT network infrastructure project design, reviews, and ensure network architecture goals and requirements are met and aligned with business objectives
Develop network and security documentation, including diagrams and work instructions, test plans, implementation plans, and project timelines for various projects
Who are you?
Australian Citizenship is a requirement for this position
To be successful in this position you require Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Network Engineering, or a related field along with Minimum of 10 years of experience in network administration
Qualifications and Skills:
Certifications in Cisco (CCNA/CCNP)
Strong expertise with Cisco Routing, Switching and Palo Alto firewalls
Being able to configure equipment, and troubleshoot complex environments is a must including routing and switching, L2 & L3 Protocols
Experience with SD-WAN and network virtualization technologies
Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
Ability to respond effectively to sensitive inquiries or complaints
Adaptability to learn new technologies and industry trends.
Must be responsible, self-motivated, self-starter, personable and well-organised
Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
