About Us: Verse Group is actively recruiting for IT/OT network engineers for our client. They are looking to expand their IT Project Delivery team and continue the digital growth pathway in anticipation of their next step.
Job Description: Our client is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Network Engineer to join their dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of network architecture, extensive hands-on experience in network device selection, configuration, and a proven track record in IT/OT integration and VPN technology.
Key Responsibilities: - High and Low-level design, implementation, and maintenance of network infrastructures.
- Provide technical expertise in network device selection, configuration, and troubleshooting.
- Develop and maintain network documentation, including diagrams, standards, and procedures.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate IT and Operational Technology solutions.
- Stay abreast of emerging technologies and best practices in network engineering.
Requirements: - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in network engineering roles, mining industry preferred.
- Expertise in network architecture, including LAN, WAN, and VPN technologies.
- Proficiency in selecting and configuring network devices, such as routers, switches, and firewalls.
- Strong understanding of network topologies, including ring and mesh topology.
- Experience with network connectivity using optical fiber and Ethernet.
- Knowledge of cybersecurity best practices and tools.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Relevant certifications (e.g., CCNP, CCIE) preferred.
