Senior Network Engineer - Service Provider

A newly created opportunity for an experienced network engineer / solutions architect with extensive experience in network design and implementation within a service provider environment has arisen.Working as a tech lead, this role will be a great opportunity for an experienced engineer with a strong background in designing, deploying and managing large scale modern Service Provider networks based in Sydney.To be successful in this role, you should have a strong background in service provider routing and switching, and network transformations, including consulting, architecture, automation and tooling.In addition to the above, experience in the following is highly sought after:Cisco routers and switches, IOS and IOS-XRCisco ASR9K and NCS platformsKnowledge of Segment Routing, Segment Routing v6, IPv6, MPLSKnowledge of key frameworks, platforms, technologies and protocols for Software Orchestration and Automation of Networks (SDN)Design, configuration and integration support within project delivery and ongoing consultative engagements.Best practice architecture and lead complex network design, performance engineering and complex problem resolution.Exceptional communication skills are essential.
