Milestone IT is seeking a highly skilled Senior Network Engineer to join our client's team, working with a leading large-scale business. Key Responsibilities: Strategic Project Leadership: Drive the delivery of strategic business projects and initiatives, working with minimal guidance. Develop comprehensive plans, execute them effectively, and provide regular updates at each milestone.Network Design & Implementation: Design, build, maintain, and enhance the network infrastructure, ensuring scalability and reliability. Participate in reviews of the current state of network devices (firewalls, routers, switches, etc.), implementing new systems as required.Security & Risk Mitigation: Participate in the design and deployment of secure network solutions, identifying and addressing vulnerabilities through regular audits and security assessments.Collaboration & Stakeholder Engagement: Liaise with key stakeholders to gather requirements, translating them into technical solutions. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and maintain incident response plans for quick resolution of network incidents.Process & Procedures: Understand and drive the processes and procedures that support network integrity and the long-term stability of the environment.Required Skills & Qualifications: Foundational Networking & Security Skills: Strong expertise in network architecture, security protocols, and systems (firewalls, routers, switches, VPNs, etc.).Proven experience in designing, implementing, and managing large-scale, dynamic network infrastructures.Ability to develop and implement secure network solutions in complex environments.Experience working independently with minimal guidance, while maintaining focus on the strategic vision and delivering results.Strong communication skills, with the ability to provide regular updates on project milestones and technical details to stakeholders.Proven ability to collaborate across teams and work with stakeholders to translate business needs into technical solutions.Join us and drive the future of network infrastructure!
