Reporting to the Senior Manager, Networks and Facilities, this position is instrumental in ensuring the reliability, scalability, and performance of the network infrastructure. The Senior Network Engineer provides expert technical leadership, oversees network engineering projects, and collaborates with cross-functional teams to advance the university's technological capabilities.
Skills and Experience To be considered for this position, you will have:
A degree with substantial extension of the theories and principles, learned through experience; or a range of management experience; or postgraduate qualifications, or progress towards postgraduate qualifications with extensive relevant experience; or an equivalent alternate combination of relevant knowledge, training and/or experience.A solid understanding of modern enterprise network architecture principles, including designing, configuring, and optimising network topologies to meet organisational requirements.Technical expertise and leadership to design, implement, and optimise Cisco SDN solutions that meet the university's requirements and objectives.Collaboration and teamwork to work effectively with cross-functional teams and contribute to university-wide initiatives in SDN and network infrastructure.Please refer to the Position Description for other duties, skills and experience required for this position.
