Senior Network Engineer - Cloud / Terraform / Automation

A leading Financial Services provider is seeking a Senior Network Engineer with strong Cloud (AWS / Azure), Terraform and automation expertise to join their team on a permanent basis.

You will be joining a growing, high-performing team who are responsible for the design, engineering, implementation and support of network devices deployed on public cloud (AWS / Azure). In this role you will be required to utilise your strong automation and Terraform knowledge and help write IaC from scratch based on requirements from the team to ensure the stability and operations of their cloud network.

You will be a self-starter who is inquisitive, keen to learn and keen expand your skills and knowledge within cloud networking. Being a senior role, this client is seeking candidates who can help contribute and build the team's skills and experience, especially in relation to writing clean IaC and automating where possible.

To be successful in this role you will need: Tertiary qualifications and/or relevant vendor certifications (CCIE, AWS, etc.)Demonstrated cloud network engineering delivery experience gained within large, complex environmentsAdvanced knowledge and experience using Terraform to write IaCStrong automation experience using tools such as AnsibleExcellent scripting skills (Python)Superior troubleshooting and problem-solving skillsExcellent verbal and written communication skillsStrong teamwork skills with the ability to work independently as requiredThis is a Sydney based role and requires candidates to attend the office two days per week.
