We are seeking a skilled and experienced Network Administrator to lead the management and maintenance of our Entra/Azure based infrastructure.
In this role, you will oversee internal network operations, proactively identify and escalate issues, and manage network and device-related challenges. You'll implement security enhancements, collaborate with external vendors, and contribute to designing and developing a strategic roadmap to meet future infrastructure needs.

If you've worked in highly political environments, you'll find our culture, free from office politics and valuing openness and authenticity, a refreshing change.Key ResponsibilitiesIdentify and resolve issues proactively — Take initiative in spotting and addressing network and identity-related challenges, ensuring a seamless device experience for the team and supporting them by proactively provisioning and managing employee devices.Administer identity and workspace systems — Manage and secure Microsoft Entra, Okta, and Google Workspace environments, maintaining secure and efficient collaboration across the organization.Manage policies for users, devices, and EDR — Establish and refine security-focused policies through Intune, JAMF MDM, and EDR tools, balancing strong security with accessibility to keep systems safe and user-friendly.Implement security best practices and monitor systems — Collaborate with the Security team to implement best practices across Internal IT. Diligently monitor logs and security alerts, applying security-focused detections to safeguard our infrastructure.Shape a strategic roadmap and foster vendor relationships — Work with external technology vendors and shape a strategic infrastructure roadmap to support Karbon's growth, ensuring future needs are met with security and efficiency.5+ years experience in a Network Administrator role across the majority of the following areas:
Microsoft Azure and EntraID/Active directory administrationWindows Server Administration (Windows Server 2022) and working knowledge of Linux based OS administrationGoogle Workspace AdministrationGroup Policy and Device management via IntuneImplementing security focused detectionsPowershell and Bash scriptingExperience working with logging and analytics toolingKnowledge of: networking, DNS, routing, subnets, firewalls, VPNs, Virtualization, Containers, firewalls, access control and familiarity with security best practicesOkta Workforce Identity Administration would be highly regardedRelevant vendor certifications e.g. Microsoft and AWSJAMF (MDM for MacOS devices)Karbon embraces diversity and inclusion, aligning with our values as a business.
