Senior Software Engineer (.Net)As a Senior Software Engineer, you will take a defined design and turn it into code, applying appropriate technologies and current software engineering best practices. You write secure, stable, testable, and maintainable code with minimal defects. You will participate in team design, scoping, and prioritization discussions. Our client uses .Net 8 and AWS.Must have:Strong experience with .NET 8Strong AWS experienceHands-on experience designing, developing, and building microservices architectureUnit and integration testingEvent-driven architecture, messaging, and event bus platforms (e.g. Kafka, RabbitMQ)CI/CD - Continuous Delivery (GitHub Actions, Octopus, Jenkins or similar)Leadership experience, helping junior engineers through mentoringBuilding scalable and self-healing infrastructure in cloud (AWS certification will be ideal)Key points:Salary: $160,000 - $170,000 packageHybrid model: x2 days per week in office (Melbourne CBD based) / 3x days from homeOur client uses a Tech First approach, always putting the customer first and questioning the status quo.
