About the Role
Due to organisational expansion, we are seeking multiple Senior Application Developers specialising in .NET to join our Digital Transformation Program and BAU teams. You will be responsible for developing new product features and enhancements to products in the HAMBS suite of applications. Operating within the Agile Development methodology, you will conduct systems and database analysis, design and programming. Additionally, you will contribute to requirements gathering and testing processes. As a diligent and experienced Developer, you will apply agreed standards and tools to achieve a well-engineered result. These roles are offered on a maximum-term basis of 1 year.
Key Responsibilities Design and document API specs, including expected usage and key design decisions. Develop solutions using Azure services such as Logic Apps, Functions, Service Bus, Event Grid, and API Management. Learn and understand the business domain to align solutions with the business. Collaborate with stakeholders to design efficient Azure integration solutions. Write clean, testable code using .NET Core and SOLID principles. Contribute test cases to our automation suite using Spec-Flow. Identify and manage database changes as part of development. Perform regular code reviews to ensure quality and adherence to standards. Estimate effort required for development tasks and plan deliverables accordingly. Coach and mentor other developers to improve their coding skills. About You Minimum of 6 years' experience in a commercial software development environment. Advanced knowledge of C#, ASP.Net, .NET Core, SQL, and API development. Knowledge of RESTful API design, SOAP, and other web services protocols. Develop solutions using Azure services such as Logic Apps, Functions, Service Bus, Event Grid, and API Management. Familiarity with integration patterns, such as publish-subscribe, request-reply, and asynchronous messaging. Experience with hybrid cloud scenarios, connecting on-premises systems to Azure services. Strong interpersonal and team working skills. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Desirable: practical knowledge of HTML, CSS, Typescript and Delphi.
