Position Overview: We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Senior NDIS Plan Manager to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will play a critical role in supporting our participants by applying their extensive knowledge of the NDIS to provide expert advice to ensure that our participants receive the best possible support and services.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide expert advice and guidance to clients regarding what services and supports their NDIS funding can be used for.
- Ensure compliance with NDIS guidelines and regulations.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with participants, their families, and service providers.
- Coordinate and manage support services to meet the individual needs of clients.
- Monitor the spend of Plans to prevent exhaustion and over-utilisation
- Engage in monthly engagement program with participants
- Train and mentor junior plan managers and support staff.
- Handle complex cases and resolve issues effectively and efficiently.
Requirements: - Extensive experience in NDIS plan management or a similar role.
- Comprehensive knowledge of the of the NDIS Practice Standards, Price Guide, Guidelines and processes.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Empathy and understanding are essential.
- High level time management skills and ability to manage multiple tasks independently.
- Ability to apply lateral and critical thinking when NDIS guidelines are unclear.
- Exceptional attention to detail.
- Maintain integrity, particularly when pressure is applied.
- Relevant experience and/or qualifications in disability services, social work, or a related field are highly desirable.
