This EOI is designed to connect with experienced professionals ready to contribute to ongoing and future defence projects in an organisation focused on growth, collaboration, and technical excellence.Key Responsibilities:Develop conceptual, preliminary, and detailed designs for naval vessels.Perform analysis within ship structure, stability, and fluid dynamics to ensure vessel safety and performance.Collaborate with multidisciplinary engineering teams to integrate systems and subsystems into vessel designs.Work to key Australian Defence standards.Support the development of technical documentation, including specifications, reports, and drawings.Ideal candidates will bring:Bachelor's or Master's degree in Naval Architecture, Marine Engineering, or a related field.Proven experience in the design and engineering of naval or commercial vessels.Strong knowledge of defence standards (e.g., MIL-STD, DEF(AUST)).Proficiency in naval architecture software.Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment and manage competing priorities.Please only apply if you hold Australian Citizenship and can obtain and maintain a Defence Security Clearance.If you think you match the above criteria, please apply in Word format only.
