Project description
The role is with our Murex environment management team which is working on a major year-on-year migration program for Tier-1 AU banks to help them hollow out clients' legacy Murex platform into their target markets settlement platform leveraging Murex 3.1. Our project offers a unique opportunity to work across a wide range of niche technologies, like AWS, and DevOps alongside legacy and the latest Murex versions.
This specific role will also focus on Murex configuration management, version control and release automation leveraging Git, Jenkins, Ansible, MxConfig and MxPipeline.
Responsibilities Manage Mx 3.1 environments and configurations across DEV and QA streamsEnvironment preparation, refresh, rebuild, upkeep, maintenance, and upgrade activities on AWS cloudTroubleshooting and resolution of Murex environment-specific issues, including infrastructure-related issues at the OS/DB levelManage enhancements to build/packaging scriptsAutomation of regular/periodic environment-specific tasks through JenkinsDevelop/Enhance scripts using Unix/Perl for requirements across market data sync and related activitiesAutomation of Murex package deployments to SIT/UAT environments through a combination of Jenkins, MxConfig, MxPipeline, Ansible, and Unix/Python scriptsCreate new/Manage enhancements to ControlM jobs SKILLS Must have Overall 7-9 years of experience in Murex Environment ManagementExpert Murex Environment management on v3.1.x including the understanding of services, logs, etc.Strong Experience with Jenkins (creation and execution of jobs)Strong exposure to Murex Configuration management ideally in a CICD environment (version control, release automation, ..)Advanced UNIX shell scripting (bash)Exposure to Cloud Automation Nice to have PostgreSQL experienceMxConfig, MxPipelineAWS experienceExposure to additional CICD tooling (Terraform, Ansible, Puppet, ...)Python scripting
