As a Dynamics Consultant, you will be responsible for gathering, analyzing, and interpreting information from clients to understand business processes, pain points, business needs, and user experience to configure NetSuite so that it meets client requirements.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:Requirements Gathering: Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business processes, gather functional requirements, and translate them into effective system solutions.Implementation & Configuration: Support the implementation of Microsoft Dynamics Business Central solutions, including setup, configuration, and integration of modules (e.g., Financials, CRM, Inventory, Order Management).Data Migration: Assist in the migration of legacy data into Dynamics, ensuring accurate mapping, cleansing, and validation of data.Training & Documentation: Provide user training sessions and create detailed documentation for end-users and system administrators.Testing & Quality Assurance: Perform unit testing, system integration testing, and user acceptance testing (UAT) to ensure high-quality and error-free configurations.Client Interaction & Support: Serve as a primary point of contact for clients, providing consultation, troubleshooting, and ongoing support during and after system implementation.System Optimization & Enhancements: Recommend system improvements, configurations, and process optimizations to enhance business operations and reporting capabilities.Project Management Support: Assist project managers in delivering projects on time and within budget, helping to monitor progress and manage client expectations.Stay Current with Updates: Keep up to date with Dynamics releases, updates, and new features, and guide clients on how to best utilize them.Troubleshooting & Issue Resolution: Diagnose, troubleshoot, and resolve technical and functional issues related to Dynamics applications.Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, both internal and external, to ensure successful system implementation and process alignment.Presales (highly desirable): Discuss client ERP requirements, develop a strategy for the client solution, provide solution guidance on the best options for the client, cost the deployment and recommend suitable licenses and partner modules, demonstrate Dynamics Business Central to clients.Technical (desirable): Perform technical requirements gathering, document and cost the customization, customize Dynamics Business Central for the client requirements, test and validate the customization in the system.EDUCATION REQUIREMENTSDesirable Relevant Tertiary qualification - IT or Business degree, or equivalent applicable work experience.DEMONSTRATED EXPERIENCE & ATTRIBUTES:Experience Proven Dynamics Experience: Minimum 5-7 years of hands-on experience (more is preferred) with Dynamics Business Central, including configuration, customization, demonstration, development, and integration across various modules (e.g., Financials, CRM, Inventory, Order Management).ERP Implementation Experience: Strong experience in managing or supporting Dynamics ERP implementations, including requirements gathering, design, testing, and go-live support.Client-Facing Roles: Experience in direct client interaction, including gathering business requirements, providing consultations, and offering ongoing support.System Testing: Proficient in conducting unit tests, integration testing, and supporting user acceptance testing (UAT) to ensure effective solutions.Project Management Support: Familiarity with project management methodologies and supporting project managers to meet deadlines and manage deliverables.Attributes Analytical & Problem-Solving Skills: Strong ability to analyze complex business problems and translate them into Dynamics solutions.Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.Attention to Detail: Ability to manage and configure intricate system details, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.Adaptability & Learning: Willingness to stay current with new Dynamics features and updates and adapt solutions to new business requirements.Team Player: Ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams, collaborating with finance, business analysts, IT, and clients.Customer-Focused: Strong client-facing skills with a commitment to delivering exceptional service and ensuring client satisfaction.Time Management: Ability to handle multiple priorities and manage time efficiently, meeting deadlines in a fast-paced environment.Proactive Attitude: Ability to take initiative, identify areas for improvement, and suggest practical solutions to optimize system performance.Business Acumen: Understanding of business processes, especially within finance, accounting, and operations, to deliver effective Dynamics solutions.Technical Competence: Comfort with technology and a technical mindset, with the ability to learn new tools and techniques quickly.Life at RSM:RSM provides a great environment to build skills and confidence and we help our people achieve their best.
