We currently have a full-time position available for a Senior Motor Loss Assessor – Farm and Agriculture.

Your key responsibilities will include: Provide a high-level of technical assistance and support within the Farm and Machinery space.
Ensure all HMV Assessors are updated on the changing technologies within the Agri-Sector.
Manage and update the Farm and Machinery Policy and Procedure Manual for HMV Assessing as required.
Assist in Identifying training requirements and facilitate training programs in the Farm and Machinery space.
Complete the daily allocation of the nominated Assessing Runs.
Contribute to Monthly Assessor Meetings within the HMV Assessing division.
Assist the HMV leadership team with internal and external enquiries.
Completion of HMV Motor Vehicle Assessments as required within the business unit.
Monitor, review and maintain required productivity levels in line with company assessing philosophies.
Assist the HMV Leadership team in the communicating and updating of client and AAMC requirements to all HMV Assessors.
Assist with the recruitment of assessors.

About you To be considered for this role, you will need to be able to demonstrate: Minimum of 5 years of experience in the insurance industry or Agri-Sector.
Strong Leadership skills, highly motivated.
A proven ability to lead and manage people.
Solid understanding of "on" farm equipment and the people who drive the industry.
Industry trade qualified – preferably in Mechanical, Hydraulics, Electrical or Electronics.
Experience in the workings and servicing/repair process on (but not limited to) Tractors, Harvesters, Chaser Bins, Header Fronts, Irrigation systems and Spraying equipment.
Knowledge of MS Office applications.
Excellent communication skills – written and verbal.
Exceptional negotiation and influencing skills.
Self-motivated and able to work autonomously.
National Australian Police Check and willingness to obtain.
