MIS Security Analyst - RACF Security Expertise - Hybrid Nixil, Millers Point, New South Wales, Australia Work options: Hybrid We are seeking an experienced Management Information Systems Security Analyst with deep expertise in RACF Security to join our team.
The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, implementing, and managing security measures to protect our mainframe systems, ensuring compliance with organizational security requirements.
Key Responsibilities Security Leadership: Apply security best practices to maintain operational effectiveness.
Implement and refine security controls within MIS-managed systems.
Strategic Design & Implementation: Collaborate with Mainframe Identity Service Security Architects.
Design and implement security solutions that meet evolving business needs.
Change Management: Lead change management efforts, including requirements validation, design decisions, testing, and quality management.
Continuously review and adopt relevant tools and frameworks to drive process improvements.
Risk Management: Proactively identify, report, and implement risk remediation tasks.
Maintain the integrity and quality of the operating environment.
Technical Expertise: Leverage deep technical knowledge to define and implement solutions that support business goals.
Investigate complex software or hardware problems and coordinate resolutions.
Required Skills and Experience: 5+ years' experience in a Security Analyst role (Mainframe).
Advanced professional experience in a relevant field.
Relevant Financial Services Industry experience advantageous.
Tertiary qualification in a Technology discipline or related field.
Specific Skills: JCL (Job Control Language) coding experience.
SAS (Statistical Analysis System) programming expertise.
ISPF (Interactive System Productivity Facility) - ISPF Dialogue Management Services expertise.
SDSF (Spool Display Search Facility) experience.
RACF (Resource Access Control Facility) Security expertise, including security control design reviews to ensure ongoing compliance with organizational security requirements.
Audit, risk, and controls background/exposure will be a bonus.
