The position is based in Alice Springs and is responsible for administering the Mining Management Act 2001 . assessing Mining Management Plans providing advice and recommendations with respect to assessments regulating mining activities, and undertaking remote site inspections, audits and environmental monitoring. The successful candidate will operate as part of a small team and will apply specialist knowledge in an environmental or engineering capacity related to mining, to provide advice to operators and stakeholders to ensure effective service delivery.
