About The Role The Senior Mining Engineer at Tarrawonga Mine is a key position responsible for ensuring the mining operations are efficiently managed, cost-effective, and fully compliant with safety and environmental standards. This is an on-site role with a 9-day fortnight roster. Applicants must either reside in the Gunnedah region or be willing to relocate (relocation assistance provided). What You'll Do Provide technical support to mine operations, ensuring the site operates safely and reliably. Supervise and mentor mining engineers, aligning their work with business objectives. Lead the analysis and reporting of mining production data across the site. Identify opportunities for technical and business improvements to boost productivity and reduce costs. Ensure the production budget is met through effective planning, scheduling, and coordination of the mining fleet's activities. What You'll Bring Tertiary qualifications and extensive experience in Mining Engineering. Advanced skills in mine design and scheduling. Proficiency in mining software packages and engineering practices. Strong communication skills and the ability to perform well under pressure.
