About the Role:
We are offering a full-time permanent position for a Senior Mining Engineer based in Newcastle or the Hunter Valley. In this role, you will manage and oversee complex mining projects while providing essential site and client support. You will ensure technical excellence, operational efficiency, and strong client relationships, contributing to the successful delivery of projects and overall company growth.
About You:
Degree in Mining or Civil Engineering
5+ years of experience in mining engineering, with a strong background in the coal industry
Expertise in pit, dump, and haul road design, scheduling, and financial analysis
Proficiency in mining software such as Vulcan, Deswik, and Spry
Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Proven ability to manage client relationships and deliver results
Australian citizenship or rights to work in Australia
Current driver's license
