We have an opportunity for a 12-month maternity leave cover (starting in Feb 2025) for an experienced Senior Mining Engineer focused on Long Term Planning. Reporting to the General Manager Technical and Studies, this role is a key member of our Technical Services and Studies team, a shared service to Aeris operations and Aeris projects. The team provides technical support, develops long-term plans, governs technical standards, supports operational excellence, and manages studies. The team have a broad range of solutions including mine engineering, metallurgy, environmental science, permitting, mine closure planning, community engagement, studies control, cost estimation, business improvement and innovation.
This role will suit an experienced mine planning professional familiar with UG hard rock mine planning, specifically long term and LOM.
Minimum Requirements: Experience in long-term mine planning.Familiarity with UG hard rock mining.Ability to develop long-term plans and govern technical standards.Strong collaboration and communication skills.Our People Rock The true value in Aeris comes from two things: people and rocks.
