Mining - Engineering & Maintenance (Mining, Resources & Energy)The Details:As the Senior Mining Engineer reporting to the Underground Manager, you will be responsible for delivering technical services support across both planning and production for the mining operation, whilst liaising with the UG mining Contractor.Roles and Responsibilities:Ensure all planning and production tasks for the underground mine are executed safely, efficiently, and in compliance with the plan.Management of day-to-day production activities.Develop mine plans and schedules ranging from short term through to 3-Month and Life-of-Mine time horizons.Oversee the development and implementation of stoping designs.Review and improve standard processes and systems for mine planning and production.Ensure Contractor performance is in line with the contract and mine plan.Identify and complete mine infrastructure and optimisation projects as required.Produce accurate end of month reconciliation reports.Prepare annual budgets and monitor ongoing cost against approved budget.Ensure operating procedures remain fully aligned with effective risk management practices.About You:Degree qualified Mining Engineer or equivalent.Currently hold or be eligible to obtain a First Class Mine Manager's Certificate - desirable.Competent use of Deswik.Drivers' Licence.National Police Clearance.What to do now:If this role sounds like you then please apply or send your resume directly to ******.
